can you see me staring
into eyes of grey and blue?

do you see the colours changing
as I begin to think of you?

green and dark, almost clouded,
shining shadows deep within.

do you see the same in me,
underneath the depth of sin?

what if it would shatter and
broken glass reflect the pain?

would you look into the mirror
if you knew you'd see the same?
