lines, so many lines:
they are black and white,
the way everyone sees them.
they are thick and thin,
but how would you know?
there are some shorter lines
and some are longer.
lives, so many lives…
aren't they just the same?
just lines we barely see.
so why do we judge them,
pretend to know what they're worth?
do you know the value of something
just by looking at a barcode?
