near is the time
that I will stand
in front of the great gate
- closed and black -
waiting for her voice
to coldly summon me
into her doomed troops
and poor will it be
the reward I'll get
but I can see
there is no hope
so I will die fighting
in a battle where
glory's not involved
and maybe bring
upon her land
the fate she deserves
