//EYE IN THE SKY

The sun is like an eye in the sky
Staring down on us
Through a fiery veil
The sunshine like an exploring gaze
Nothing can be hidden from its probing rays
Even the shadows
May once turn to light
But the only places they can't reach
Are the thoughts you hide in your mind
But did you ever try
To open up?
To welcome the light
And let your spirits free to fly
For others to see the brightness inside
To show there's no reason
To flee from the fire
that burns inside
